On the charts that is! And rightfully so! I mean, I'm sorry but I would NOT count the 500,00 thousand albums that was sold for 99cents on Amazon as TRUE success (Sorry Gaga) So it is only fair that Adele is still dominating the charts!
Adele's success in a nut shell:
Despite the publicity blitz which underpinned the Gaga Live concert last week, Adele remains at No.1 with her record 21 and her debut album 19 climbed to No.3. She has spent 10 weeks at the top spot and appears unassailable with industry sources claiming 21 is outselling the other top 10 titles by 4 to 1. It is currently three-times platinum which translates to more than 210,000 copies and will be the highest selling album in Australia for 2011.
